Permian Basin Area Foundation’s Scholarships available

February 13, 2009– MIDLAND, Texas – Permian Basin Area Foundation announces that applications for the Dawson Geophysical Scholarship and the Permian Basin Geophysical Society Scholarship are available for students who are pursuing a career in the field of geosciences.

Interested students can review selection criteria and download an application by visiting visiting the Scholarships section of the Foundation’s website and clicking on “field of study.”

Completed applications must be returned to Permian Basin Area Foundation, 200 N. Loraine, Suite 500, Midland, Texas 79701, by March 31, 2009.

Permian Basin Area Foundation facilitates the creation of permanent charitable funds, in partnership with many donors, and provides grants to address changing community needs and enrich the quality of life in the Permian Basin.
