Scholarships: Blanche Plunkett Memorial Scholarship
This fund was established with donations from friends and family of Blanche Plunkett, a retired Midland teacher who died in 2005. The fund provides scholarships for graduates of Midland public schools based on the following:
- Financial need.
- Good citizenship.
- Desire and dedication to succeed in a college environment.
To be considered your application must contain:
- Applicant's self-assessment of why he/she is deserving of the award.
- Teacher's recommendation and assessment of the applicant's potential to succeed in a college environment.

Depending on the version of Acrobat software installed on your computer, you may be able to complete the application form online, in your browser window. You can test for this capability by clicking in the first blank and typing the requested information. If text appears in the blank, you can complete the form online. Use your Tab key to move to the next blank on the form. After you've completed the form, you may then print and mail it to the Foundation.
Don't worry if you can't complete the form online. Just print the blank form and fill it out by hand or with a typewriter. The method of completion will not affect the consideration given to your application.
