Scholarships: Daniel Parker Herd Memorial Scholarship

Created by Tevis and Patty Herd and other family and friends, the Daniel Parker Herd Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial scholarships primarily to assist graduates of a Midland County high school with emphasis given to students pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture and attending an educational institution in the state of Texas. Each scholarship shall be awarded one-half in the fall semester and one-half in the spring semester, and is based upon the following:

  1. Graduate of a Midland County high school.

  2. Financial need.

  3. Good character.

  4. Academics.

  5. Desire, dedication and leadership.

  6. Annual renew ability requires personal communication by the recipient with the Foundation and the Herd family.

Don't worry if you can't complete the form online. Just print the blank form and fill it out by hand or with a typewriter. The method of completion will not affect the consideration given to your application.
