Scholarships: Wes-Tex Telephone Cooperative, Inc. Scholarship
Created by Wes-Tex Telephone Cooperative, Inc., this fund provides a one-time scholarship to one graduating senior from each of the following school districts:
Big Spring ISD, Borden County ISD, Coahoma ISD, Forsan ISD, Garden City ISD, Grady ISD, Greenwood ISD, Reagan County ISD, Sands ISD, and Stanton ISD.
Each scholarship shall be limited to the first year of college attendance and must be used within a year of being awarded. Recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Good citizenship.
- Desire for advanced education.
- Potential for success in a college environment.
- Financial need.
To be considered your application must contain:
- A short essay on what you consider to me the most significant event that has happened in your life. This should not exceed one page typed.

Depending on the version of Acrobat software installed on your computer, you may be able to complete the application form online, in your browser window. You can test for this capability by clicking in the first blank and typing the requested information. If text appears in the blank, you can complete the form online. Use your Tab key to move to the next blank on the form. After you've completed the form, you may then print and mail it to the Foundation.
Don't worry if you can't complete the form online. Just print the blank form and fill it out by hand or with a typewriter. The method of completion will not affect the consideration given to your application.
