Blanche Plunkett Memorial Scholarship

“Currently, I am completing my student teaching practicum in which I am present in an elementary school for eight hours five days a week.  Fortunately, this experience is being completed in-person.  Through this experience, I have been able to bridge the gap between school and a true working environment.  My time working at the elementary school has been the most enjoyable experience and I will miss my students dearly when it comes to an end.  An additional exciting update is that I received my Aggie Ring.  It was a great honor and joyful experience.  The scholarship provided has allowed me to experience all these joyful moments and pursue my passion.  Thank you very much.”

Daryl Lynn Hunt Memorial Scholarship (Original Award)
Dollie Ruth Neal Legacy Scholarship (Renewal Award)

“The importance of this scholarship would not only help me with my financial needs, but also the money will be used to help me achieve my goal in becoming an architect.  It is an investment into a driven young lady striving to be one of the few Hispanic women in this architectural field.  With this scholarship, you can help me make that happen.”

Olga T. Banks Scholarship (Renewal Award)

“Despite the effects of Covid-19, I still experienced another terrific year at the university.  Ultimately, I greatly appreciate your contribution and assistance towards my education as I attend the University of Michigan.  Without your contribution, the amazing experiences that I have gone through at the university would have been difficult to make possible.”

Olga T. Banks Scholarship

“The scholarship allows me to apply to medical programs knowing that I will have financial support.  Words cannot express my gratitude for all of the help I have received from the foundation over the past three years.  Medical school has been a goal since high school, and it’s crazy to think that I am within a year or two starting it!”
