Permian Basin Area Foundation

Nonprofit Endowments

Nonprofits provide solutions for a variety of needs throughout our community. Funding is a necessary part of those solutions. Ideally, a nonprofit should be able to administer programs without being overburdened by fundraising and the management and investment of capital.

Establishing a permanent endowment alleviates some of those issues and gives assurance of consistent and reliable income even during volatile economic conditions.

Some of the benefits of an endowment with the Permian Basin Area Foundation include:

  • Management and stewardship in compliance with laws governing endowments

  • Guardianship to preserve assets for sustaining organizational purposes

  • Disciplined financial policies with focus on long-term growth

  • Participation with a large and diverse pool of assets with access to proven financial managers at economical fees

  • Routine access to distributions – even during depressed markets

  • Donor confidence in a larger institution

  • Capacity to receive alternative, non-cash gifts

  • Professional administration and reporting

  • Dedicated community leadership
